The present invention relates to a traveling control device, enabling a vehicle to travel along a vehicle lane of a driving road. The traveling control device comprises: a step of recognizing a lane marker installed on a left side and a right side of the vehicle lane (S62); a step of setting a traveling area of the vehicle between the lane markers (S64); a step of preferentially selecting a traveling route candidate having high linearity among the traveling route candidates to be determined as a target traveling route (S70); and a step of controlling traveling of the vehicle in accordance with the target traveling route (S72). |
