Reversible plough frame - has beam and blade supports fabricated of thick steel plates to which channel section member are secured

The plough has a frame(1) for connection of a three point lift linkage of a tractor and designed for rotating the beam (2) to reverse the plough. The beam is fabricated from an elongated relatively thick steel plate arranged vertically and to which a thinner channel section is welded to form a box structure. The beam carries pillars(3) to which soles(4), plough-shares(5) and mouldboards(6) are secured. The pillars are similarly fabricated from a relatively thick steel plate to which a splayed channel section is welded forming a trapezoidal box section.
