<p>5,5 -undecane-3- .9-dioxide, (I), is new. Pref. (I) is used at 5-30 (10-25) wt. with 95-70 pts. wt. polyester to provide a flame-proof textile. (I) is soluble in molten (I); does not impair the physical properties of the finished polyester fibre; is heat-stableat is inert in the presence of molten polyesters; and can be added to polyester before spinning. Polyester textiles and polyeter fibre blends contg. (I) have high flame-resistance.</p> |
