The adhesive which is added to the powdered glass in liq. form is intended to ensure intricate mixing of the powdered glass and the organic plastic material of the radiation protection filter. Mixtures of alcohol, acetic acid and water can be used as carrier liq. for the adhesive. Colour is corrected by adding or applying pref. complementary colour pigments. The adhesive substrate can be applied to the surface of the carrier material to be coated. Glass granulate can be pressed hot into the organic material and the side coated with the granulate can be covered with another layer of organic material.
