<p>A deaerator for a chamber filled with a fluid, esp. for a radiator in a central heating installation, has a housing which can be connected to the chamber from which the air is to be vented. The housing has an inlet and an outlet between which there is a thin plate of an elastomer or a polymer which permits the passage of air but blocks the passage of fluid. The plate Pt consists of a silicone-polymer or -elastomer. The housing is formed by a dish-shaped detail which connects the inelt to the outlet of the radiator. A filling is fitted inside the housing and its surface, against which the plate makes contact, has a number of grooves. These delimit channels,a nd are connected by cross grooves. These delimit channels, and are connected by cross grooves to a central channel forming the outlet from the housing. A very simple deisgn which is perfectly safe in operation and can be fitted at any angle is provided.</p> |
