<p>The motor drive mechanism is intended for a Venetian blind with vertical slats which can be horizontally moved as well as rotated about their longitudinal axes. The slats are held by carriers running in a rail can be swivelled via a swivelling shaft (18) extending through the carriers. The sliding and swivelling motion is provided by a motor (51) with reduction gearing (2-5). The reduction is connected to a slidable coupling (6) which can be moved to either connect with the slat sliding drive (9-10) or with the drive (12-15, 19, 18) controlling the slat swivel action. The coupling (6) may be pivotally connected to a lever (8) spring-loaded (7) at one end which can be made to engage, or disengage from, an axially spring-loaded (23) rod (11).</p> |
