<p>Glass to cooled and/or decoration baked into the glass using a furnace heated by liq. and gaseous fuels plus air for combustion, fed in proportional amts. to the burners; the resulting hot gases are mixed with additional air while still in the burner chamber and used for direct heating of the glassware. The complete combustion of the gases pref. produce a natural turbulence in the furnace so that additional appts. such as fans and air circulators, is eliminated, and irregular heat radiation is also prevented. Safety devices are pref. included so no explosive mixts. of gas and air can form in the fuel supply pipes.</p> |
