<p>The oil burner unit for road surfacing material drying kilns uses several atomisers (20) in line or grouped around a central one, whose combined maximum output corresponds to the maximum heat requirements of the kiln. The atomisers are in the outlet end of a tubular casing (2), behind a flame stabiliser (21). Further upstream the casing houses a motor driven axial blower (5) with variable blade angle and in the inlet pivoted (10, 11) flaps (8, 9). The position of the flaps is linked mechanically by toothed segments (12, 13) and a drive mechanism (14, 16) to that of an oil input controller (18), both being operated by a servo-motor (17).</p> |
