In the specific embodiment, Fig. 1, belts 8, 8<SP>1</SP> move articles across the top surface 6 of cabinet 10; the printing apparatus is contained in drawer 100 provided with handle 22. Inside the drawer 100, two horizontal arms 126, 127, Fig. 2, form with rock shaft 125 a yoke-like support, the printing device, e.g. a type support (140), Fig. 3 (not shown), being carried on arm 126. Arm 127 is associated with height-adjustment mechanism, Fig. 5 (not shown), for altering the impression pressure and to enable the whole printing device to be lowered on the yoke below surface 6 so that the drawer 100 can be slid in or out. The inking system includes a transfer roller 142, Fig. 2, an absorbent inker roller (143) and a replaceable or refillable reservoir (150), Fig. 3 (not shown).</p> |
