<p>Parent patent describes a display panel for fitting to the sides of vehicles, where a printed poster was mounted between a support panel and a transparent sheet which clipped over the edges of the support. Two seal strips were mounted around the edge of the assembly to support the turned edge of the cover. This addn. modifies the seal strip profiles to combine twin flanges which enclose the inner and outer edges of the support board. The seal also has a hollow border large enough to be clamped by contact along >=2 zones by the elastic lip of the transparent cover. Pref. a sheet of expanded polystyrene is laid behind the poster to compensate for the greater thickness of the adjacent seal flange. The seal is improved and assembly made easier by use of the single multi-purpose seal profile.</p> |
