<p>The compressed-air dart-launching equipment resembles a revolver or carbine, being for use in a game testing aiming skill. It includes a pneumatic inflator to allow the darts to be projected, and which typically can supply a magazine, in the form of a cylinder rotating freely on a spindle fixed to the breech, containing the darts. The cylinder also slides, so as to move to or from a nozzle in the breech. The cylinder spindle and one parallel to it can be arranged to fit in tubes parallel to the barrel. Springs can be included to allow barrel, cylinder and nozzle to be uncoupled and the cylinder rotated to bring fresh chambers loaded with darts into line with the nozzle.</p> |
