摘要 <p>Prodn. of electrophotographic material involves of a soln. of a polymer (I) and a nitrofluorenone cpd. (II) in a solvent for (I) and (II) to an electrically conductive substrate and drying to form a photoconductive layer. (I) is based on acenaphthylene and contains >=80 mol-% units of the formula (Ia), whilst (II) has the formula (II) (in which m and n are 1 or 2 3 = m+n 4). = (II) is used in an amt. of 0.25-1.0., pref. 0.35-0.75 mole/(Ia) monomer unit. The use of a solvent which is miscible with both (I) and (II) gives a photoconductive layer of high sensitivity, without background staining. The material has good flexibility and the photoconductive compsn. has good film-forming properties. Pref. (II) is 2,4,7-tri- or 2,4,5,7-tetra-nitrofluorenone and the solvent is THF or cyclohexanone. A phthalic or phosphoric ester can also be added.</p>
