<p>The supply circuit for one or more discharge lamps, has the circuitry of the main patent, with the addition that the current limiter comprises a simple winding, and that the preheating circuit for the lamp filaments is incorporated in the booster circuit so that the booster current flows through the preheating circuit. The booster circuit consists of an oscillator and a capacitor. The oscillator contains a resonant capacitor and the series combination of a switch and an inductor in parallel with this capacitor.</p> |
