Burial chamber with coffin recesses - has galleries containing collectors for gases and incorporates recovery tank, and valve

The burial chamber, as already patented, consists of recesses (1) of parallelpiped shape each containing a coffin. Each recess has connections (11) to a system of pipes for the gases and liquids from the coffins. An upper collector (7) collects the light gases, and a bottom collector (8) the heavy gases. Each recess has one high and one low socket for connecting the coffin to the two collectors. The system of collectors for the light gases is set at slight pressure, and air, oxygen or a reducing gas introduced into the recovery tank for the heavy products to circulate the reducer gas. The units of coffin recesses are separated by galleries (4) containing the collectors. The collectors can be shut on and off by a valve.
