<p>A bottling plant also includes a cleaning stage where washing liquid and gas under pressure are injected into the bottle, and an injection member is lowered inside to discharge the gas and liquid. The liquid and gas lines are connected to a chamber inside which a piston is raised and lowered to force the mixture into the bottle during a downward stroke, and remove the mixture during the upward stroke, the supply lines being kept open. The injection member forms an upper and a lower chamber for gas and liquid respectively, the liquid being fed in through one chamber and discharged through the other chamber. The discharge of liquid is through a float which rises from a position between the feed holes to an upper position controlling discharge.</p> |
