The structural element is for edgings, parapets or walls in various polygonal shapes. The element is a beam (1) of square section and provided with two holes at one end and one hole at the other end. The two holes are at such a distance from each other that sufficient space is left for the width of an adjoining element placed perpendicularly at the end of the first one while the connection of the two elements is carried out through the hole at the extreme end. All holes are enlarged at both ends leaving a shoulder (6) in the middle. The assembly of bordering is carried out by stacking individual elements (1) and connecting them alternately through a hole (3) at the extreme end on one element and through the hole (2) in the next element. The gap between the axes of the holes serves for joining a layer of elements in a different direction.
