The glass washing device for a sink, has a support plate (1) with cleaning brushes attached vertically to it. Each brush comprises a one-piece brush element formed by a rod (7) with an enlarged head (8) and a fastening element (16) at the base. The support plate has a counter piece (11) for the fastening element (16) so that the brush elements can be easily fitted. The support plate can have raised bearing sleeves (4) to which the rod base (9) can be attached. The base can have an outer thread whilst the bearing sleeve can act as the counter piece and have an inner thread. Alternatively, the fastening element (16) on the rod base and the counter piece (11) on the support plate can be connected by a bayonet lock.
