The blind canvas protecting device consists of a covering sheet (25) of weatherproof material, fitted for insertion into a guideway piece (16) on the drop rail (14). Its length is such that when inserted it can be drawn at least over the whole of the rolled up sunblind canvas (11). The covering sheet may be insertable in an additional guide provided for the blind, esp. in connection with a front sunblind curtain. It may be long enough to wrap round the whole periphery of a sunblind rolled up on a spindle (10).
