A lever (11) connects a spring bolt (30) to a pressing lever (7) through a link (35). A pivot (10) distance from the punch axis is less than a pressing lever's pivot (18) distance. With slider fully lowered, a link pin (34) lies above the link's other end pin (36), with a clearance (D) at the lifting nuts (32). The pressing levers (7) lie longitudinally, near to the punch, with short travel for a compact assembly. The pressing cheeks (4) are mounted on quick change holders (41).</p> |
