<p>A band sawing machine has an endless saw blade entrained over two saw pulleys and two blade guides. Lateral displacements of the saw blade to an equilibrium position, as occur during a sawing operation, are countered by a corrective tilt of a planar front face on one or both of the blade guides. The saw blade, by means of tensioning, is constantly pressed against the front face, or faces of the blade guides.</p> |
