<p>The drive mechanism is for augers in containers from which salt, sand or other bulk materials are scattered on road surfaces, the container being mounted on a motor vehicle which provides drive for the conveyor. The drive mechanism (9-14) is in the form of a unit which can be set on the shaft (3) of the auger (2), on a sidewall of the container (1), to which it can be detachably fastened. The unit comprises transmission, regulator, oil-pressure motor (14) and connection leads. The gear-box (9) can be fixed by screw connections to a carrier plate on the container sidewall, on the shaft stump (4).</p> |
