<p>A device indicating when a reserve level is reached in a container emptying via a supply pipe, e.g. in a heating oil tank, is designed to ensure absolutely reliable indication so as to allow sufficient time to obtain a refill without requiring continuous supervision. When the container is filled the inlet opening of the supply pipe is carried on a float up to the min. reserve level where a locking device holds it. When the oil level falls below the min. reserve level oil ceases to flow and the system operation is interrupted, thus giving positive indication of the need to refill. The locking mechanism is released and the reserve oil used.</p> |
