<p>The silo is formed essentially by the bottom (1), the cylindrical wall (2) and the roof (3) which is provided with devices (4) for uniform infeed of the material. Built on the bottom (1) in the centre there is a mixing chamber (5) into which the material flows from the silo chamber through wall orifices (6). Via an expansion chamber (7) the mixed material is passed to discharge lines (9). The material is fed to the mixing chamber (5) via pneumatic loosening appliances (10, 11). Arranged on the bottom of the mixing chamber there are homogenising devices (13), an outer ring zone (15) remaining free of homogenising devices. This ensures that the mixing chamber (5) can be enlarged without more energy being required for homogenising. <IMAGE></p> |
