Plastics box for flush-mounting of electric switches, sockets and adapters can be installed singly or in a row using combination link components.The links havE, on two opposite walls of the mantle of the box, clip-in devices. On one of the walls at the top edge of the box on either side there is a hook, and in the lower portion of the wall, a resilient, elongated, hook-like projection on the left-hand side and a similar projection on the right-hand side. On the other wall there are corresponding recesses into which the hooks and projections of any boxes clip-in.
