<p>The power regulator is used in firing plants, esp. in boilers with vibrating firegrids. A temp. or pressure regulator determines the opening angle of combustion air flap. The fuel supply is controlled in relation to the combustion air valve opening. A constant fuel and air ratio is ensured for all boiler loading conditions independently of the regulating flap characteristics with economical means. The arrangement takes into account the consideration that the combustion air flow rate does not vary linearly with the opening angle of the flap. A roller switch (4) has several adjustable contacts (5) and is connected with the lever switch (3) of the combustion air flap (2). The mechanical connection system has delay unit connected electrically. The contacts (5) can be adjusted in relation to the characteristics of the combustion air flap (2) and they are used as signal generators for the connected delay unit.</p> |
