<p>The adjustable-dia. plain bearing comprises a housing with a split bush accommodated in its bore. The bush (2) can be rotated in the housing (3), and its outside surface and the bore (31) in the housing are so shaped that when rotated in one direction, the dia. of the bush bore (11) is reduced, and in the other, it is increased. The bush can be lockable in position in the housing, having securing devices at its edges (23, 24) on either side of the lengthwise slot (22) in it. There can be mating ramp faces on the outside of the bush and inside the housing bore.</p> |
