Continuous photometry measuring process - in which trays in holders on endless belt pass by transparency measuring unit

The process continuously measures processes detectable by photometry, having a series of tray holders mounted on an endless belt. The trays in the holders are intermittently passed by a single photometry unit, measuring and recording the degree of transparency of each tray in turn. Stirring is effected by a magnetic system, driven by a central motor. Heating of the inside of the photometer can be controlled by thermostat, while the driving wheels are moved by an indexing motor controlled by photoelectric cells. The motor stops automatically when a tray passes the cell, and cuts in again after measurement of transparency has taken place.
