The heater has a hot gas generator connected to and supplying a main pipeline which consists of individual sections. Branch hoses with gas outlet orifices are connected to the main line with the intermediate connection of connecting pieces. The pipeline system consists of thin-walled foil hoses which can be liad in the soil. Short spiral hose sections (7) can be connected into the main line (1) and/or the branch hoses (5) and/or between main line (1) and branch hoses (5).
