Combine harvester threshing gap adjuster - has pairs of servo-cylinders connected to concave and operated by double acting hydraulic rams

The adjuster varies the gap between the threshing drum and the concave of a combined harvester. Hydraulically operated servo-cylinders are hinged on the inlet-and outlet sides of the concave. The inlet- and outlet sides of the concave are adjustable with respect to the threshing drum via paired, double-acting servo-cylinder. The servo-cylinders are connected in parallel to double-acting hydraulic transmitters. The hydraulic transmitters are double-acting cylinders, whose pistons can be moved by adjusting gears. A hydropneumatic accumulator is connected to the output of each cylinder which causes a gap increase.
