<p>The flyer sheet delivery mechanism is for a rotary printing press, having an inlet conveyor belt (3). This delivers to a sun wheel (12) with pockets for the sheets (6) evenly spaced round the periphery, and extending outwards in a spiral pattern. The wheel is formed by a series of discs spaced part in a row, between which fingers (7) engage at the delivery and stacking point (10). There can be paper guide stirrups (17) also between the discs and close to the wheel surface starting at the rollers (15) at the discharge end of the conveyor, and ending before the stacking point, so that the ends of the sheets (4) fall out of the pockets.</p> |
