Constant level regulation for testing aircraft hydraulic systems - uses closed variable flow hydraulic circuit having two liquid baths in series with circuit to be tested

The regulation method is designed to produce flow and pressure constants for the suply of an hydraulic circuit whatever the flow or pressure to be maintained. The hydraulic circuit (12) to be tested is inserted in series with a second closed hydraulic circuit. Liquid flow in this second circuit is assured from a regulated flow (2) source within the second circuit. The pressure of liquid in the circuit is raised to a value greater than the desired final pressure. Afterwards the pressure is regulated as a function of the height of the liquid in a bath which is also in series with the second circuit.
