The switch is intended for two separate aerial down leads or HF signal sources, for connection to the aerial input socket of a TV receiver. Two PIN diodes are connected in a series, so that each signal input socket is connected through an isolating capacitor to the anode of one diode and cathode of the other. The junction point between the diodes is directly connected to the HF input socket of the receiver. a further connection is made through an inductance to a change-over contact of a mechanical or electronic switch, to whose make and break contacts a DC voltage of opposite polarities is applied.
