<p>The unicellular shellfish poison sasatoxin is used to treat cancer in humans. The dosage is not stated as such but a lethel dose is 5 mg. Minute doses, however, attack tumour cells before damaging healthy ones. The toxin may also be used to complement surgical treatment.</p> |
