Valve cartridge for hydraulic system valve - has actuating plunger passing with play through system to control valve

The valve cartridge is used for hydraulic water system exposed to dirt in operation. Cartridge has slider with valve closing element actuated against the spring restoring force. The valve closing element moves axially in the cylindrical cartridge housing. The latter has a valve seat at one end and the other end enclosed a pressure compensation chamber. The actuating plunger which can move relative to the slider to a limited extent, passes through a throttle with a load connection with appreciable play. It can be connected at the end to a spring loaded control valve of small nominal size. The latter is held in the valve closing element and connected with the pressure chamber.
