<p>The inert material charges are used in conjunction with explosive charges in mining. The explosive and inert charges are placed into borehole. The inert material, such as water loaded flexible sleeve is pushed into borehole where it is tightly jammed due to distortion caused by a weakened part in sleeve wall. The sleeve is buckled and jammed into borehole. The water holding sleeve is held in boreholes correctly and with adequate jamming force. The sleeve is pushed as straight unit up to the charge 23 in borehole. Additional force is exerted on the sleeve rear end (22) until the rear end is pushed at the weak point over the front part. The weak flat part folds and allows the rear part to be wedged between borehole wall and front part of hose.</p> |
