<p>The pipe and hose union has a tubular central part (1) with a bore right through it in the lengthwise direction and a fixing thread (4, 5) at each end for a detachable union nut (20, 30) at one end and a fixing device to a pipe at the other. The central p rt can have two threaded ends separate by a central flange (6) protruding radially outwards. The nut screwing onto it has a bore of the same dia. as that in the central part. One of the threads on the central part can run right to the flange, while between the other and the flange is a smooth tubular portion of the same external dia. as the thread.</p> |
