Fade=in control for cine camera - has impulse control for smooth fade-in and controlled shutter modulation

The fade in control for the cine camera has the shutter progressively closing at the end of the scene prior to winding back the film a set length and subsequent progressive shutter opening at the start of the next scene. The control has an impulse control which provides a near parabolic modulation of the aperture setting ring. The system compensates for the uneven movement of the shutter setting control between the setting steps, so that a near linear darkening is obtained at the end of the scene.
