PURPOSE:To prevent a product generated by discharging from remaining around a contact electrifying member in contact with an image carrier and to prevent the occurrence of image flow, image blur, etc., by generating air flow in the vicinity of the contact electrifying member in a process cartridge. CONSTITUTION:When the process cartridge 20 is loaded on an image forming device main body, an intake opening part 24 and an outlet opening part 25 on the side of the cartridge 20 come to be coincident and to communicate with an air blowing opening part 34 and an intake opening part 35 on the side of the main device, respectively. Air flow passes through an air duct member 26, in which the electrifying roller 4 is surrounded, and goes from the intake opening part 24 on one side straight to the outlet opening part 25 on the other side. Consequently, the product generated by discharging around the electrifying roller 4 is smoothly exhausted outside the cartridge 20 by being carried on the air flow A running in the longitudinal direction of the electrifying roller 4. |
