The offset printing machine provides a choice of water or alcohol as the spray medium and has group of interacting independent rollers. These are selected to suit the medium. The groups comprise one or several applicator rollers (4', 4") contacting the printing roller (L) tangentially, a spreader roller (3) in direct contact with the applicator rollers. A pick-up roller (1) is partially submerged in a bath (V) of the medium and an equaliser roller (5) in contact with the pick-up roller. Another group has a roller (2) in contact with the spreader roller and the pick-up roller and one from the latter roller to the first.
