The fencing comprising trellising, bars or similar sections held by posts. The bottom of each post has a base for placing it firmly in the bottom of an excavated hole in which it is secured by filling in earth. The other end of the post has attachments for the fencing section. Each post base extends in the direction of the fence. The end posts form an L shape together with their base. The intermediate posts are placed in pairs to form a U shape, and are made of cast concrete. The base of an L shaped post is shorter than the base of a U shaped post. The cross-bars have a lengthwise groove in each end for locating a nut to be bolted to the post.
