<p>The spraying equipment for watering partic. seeds and market-garden crops, comprises a cylinder (a) with a base and a part-spherical cap having a calibrated orifice (c) bevelled at an angle (e) between 30 deg. and 150 deg. Water supplied through tangential tube (b) is atomised to give drops ranging from a mist to large drops. The equipment may be mounted on a rod stuck into the ground, or on a common ramp, or on a revolving stand driven by reaction to the atomising. A valve (d) on the tube controls the atomisation and the area watered. The calibrated orifice may be formed in an insert having the same rounded shape as the cap.</p> |
