The soil consolidation is used, when a concrete spraying installation is used behind a cutting machine for mining operations, using compressed air, as in the main patent. The water which is forced out by the action of compressed air in the region of the cutting shield is displaced by a highly viscose medium. The cut material is wetted with the medium or water. First a hardening medium is injected in the region of the cutting shield or sprayed behind it, then a liquid solidified by it. This liquid can be a dispersion hardened liquid.
