Hot water storage heater - has external instantaneous flow heater and pump controlled by two thermometer probes

An electric hot water storage cylinder has, at the bottom inlet for cold water and at the top outlet for hot water, two T-pieces. The latter join, in parallel to the main tank, a circulation pump and an electric heating element. The hot water is fed into the storage tank through the top T-piece both during the night-tarrif times and during necessary boosts at the day tariff. Two separate thermoprobes control the two cycles. This system can readily be adapted to existing hot water tanks.
