<p>The multi-station indexing drum machine has a step-wise rotatable indexing drum with several workpiece clamps (8) distributed uniformly about its circumference. The clamping jaws (11, 12) have elastic operating elements (14) for opening and closing the jaws. At least one work station (St4) has a stationary holder (22) which can span the clamping jaws and be used to increase their clamping force. The holder is operated by loading and guide rollers (27) which act on the outer surfaces of the clamping jaws. A pref. spring toggle joint (25) is used to displace the holder operating part (23) in the radial direction.</p> |
