<p>A side-gusseted bag (10) having a slider-operated zipper (28,30,38). The zipper parts (28,30) are joined only at one end (40), the free ends of the zipper parts (42,44) being separable to allow the associated side gusset (20) of the bag (10) to be inverted to form a pouring spout (50). The zipper flanges (32,34) at the joined ends of the zipper are inserted in a corner formed by one gusset panel (18) and an opposing portion of the bag wall (12,14). The other gusset panel (18) is sealed to the other bag wall (12,14) at the elevation of the zipper flanges. <IMAGE></p> |
