The compounds to be prepared correspond to the formula I in which the symbols have the meaning given in Claim 1; these compounds are prepared by reduction of the corresponding compounds which have an oxo group in position 9 in place of the two substituents H and R. The bond 10, 10a in the starting material can be a double bond. The product obtained can be acylated in position 9 or alkylated or acylated in position 1 if R is -OH and/or R1 is H. The compounds of formula I as well as their acid addition salts can be used as an active principle in medicaments acting on the central nervous system, in particular as analgesics and tranquillisers. <IMAGE>
