PURPOSE:To obtain the title molded material which is light in weight and possesses high fastening force, by forming a thread and a film over the thread by applying rolling processing to a surface layer part of thermoplastic resin while a lubricant is being brought into contact with a rolling die heated at a specific temperature. CONSTITUTION:A thread is formed by applying rolling processing to a surface layer part of a material molded of thermoplastic resin such as polyethylene terephthalate containing glass fiber by a twin roll rolling machine. In this instance, the target molded material is obtained, by a method wherein rolling processing is performed while a lubricant which is solid at the normal temperature is being brought into contact with a rolling die heated at the temperature of more than the melting point of the lubricant and a film made of the lubricant is formed on the surface of the foregoing thread. In addition to the above, as for the foregoing lubricant, it is desirable to have high-quality alcohol and/or high-quality aliphatic acid, whose mass number of carbon is more than 14, for its main ingredient. |
