Track making sledge for long distance skiing - is fitted with rake to wipe out track in selected places

Track making sledge used for long distance skiing events with track elements at its lower side and extending in the direction of the track is drawn by a vehicle. A connecting frame has a swivelling attachment to both the track making sledge and a front sledge running ahead of it which carries a tracing knife positioned transverse to the direction of the track. Track rake (30) movable towards the track made and extending transverse to the sledge is fitted to the rear of the sledge (3) viewed in the direction of the track.
