The systematic operation of tract diagrammatic layouts by computer-controlled electronic signalling uses an adjacent address register in wchih data can be exchanged concerning the addresses and track identification of track element groups which will later be signalled and manipulated after the track element group operation being handled by the central processor has been carried out.
