<p>The gear wheel (1) is made in plastic with a metal hub (3) which has an outer circumference (4) with radial ribs embedded in the plastic wheel body. The hub is formed from sheet metal. The hub plate may have an S-profile as seen in radial section. The circumferential region (4) may be radially slotted, the segments so formed being twisted out of the plane at right angles to the wheel centre line. The region (4) may be embedded in the centre of the plastic wheel body. The hub plate may have a radially inward portion (6) for location on a wheel shaft (7).</p> |
